• Has spoken to audiences all over the United States, in venues as varied as Lambda Rising Bookstore in Baltimore, Maryland; The Metropolitan Community Church in Ocala, Florida; and The North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce in Dallas, Texas.  In addition, Barb served on a successful woman business owner’s discussion panel during the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Conference and she delivered a keynote address to gifted GLBT college students during The Out for Work Conference in Washington D.C at the Human Rights Campaign’s national headquarters.
• Took a stand in 2008 for marriage equality and committed gay and lesbian relationships by appearing live at Rainbow Wedding Expos in St. Petersburg, Florida, San Francisco, California and New York, New York.
